Julie Edge, Ph.D. is a co-founder of Creelio, an early stage startup company. Creelio harnesses technology to make online content creation (e.g., blogs, social media) easier for top executives who desire a thought leadership position and want to humanize their corporate brands. She’s the mad scientist with an affinity for storytelling and leads VoiceScienceTM and content development for the business. Creelio graduated from the SparkLabKC accelerator program in April 2014 and was the recipient of a grant from Digital Sandbox in 2013. 

As an academic, Julie is the principal investigator for the Co-Founders Project, a national study of early stage startups, entrepreneurs and accelerator programs. The Co-Founders Project is supported by the Kauffman Foundation, Hogan Assessment Systems, and the Enterprise Center of Johnson County. Julie serves as an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership at the Olin Business School, Washington University-St. Louis. 

Julie is a board member and past chair for the Enterprise Center of Johnson County (a venture development organization). She also serves as a board member for First Capital Corporation (privately-held asset management company). Past board service includes: vice chair for futures and secretary for Kansas City Public Television; board member, Citizens Bank NA; and board member, Science Pioneers.
