Katheen Dodd is one of the nation’s most experienced and accomplished home care industry executives. Since 1989, she has served as the chief executive officer and founder of The Corridor Group, Inc. (TCG), Corridor Media and Corridor International (CI), building all organizations from start-up to multi-million dollar enterprises. In 2013 she added to her role Chairman Emeritus of TCG Compliance Holdings.

Over the past 30 years, Kathy has held key executive positions with businesses focused on the management and delivery of home care in the United States and abroad. Due to her focus on “doing the right things right,” she has led through three economic downturns and numerous regulatory and reimbursement challenges, while managing a highly respected consulting, executive search, eLearning and products firm. Her increased interest in the development of international home care services culminated with the founding of CI in 1999. Through CI, Kathy formed a joint venture relationship with one of Turkey’s largest companies to develop and deliver home care services. Through her guidance, CI has revolutionized the delivery of home care services in Turkey.

Ms. Dodd has over the past 24 years led TCG by providing industry expertise and insight to health care providers, payers and manufacturers. Kathy helped develop national standards for care for the home health industry through her six years on the Joint Commission Home Care Professional Technical Advisory Committee and Advisory Board, serving as chair of both. She also served two terms on the National Association for Home Care and Hospices’ Board of Directors.

Currently, Kathy is an active member of several non-profit and for-profit Boards, including an active board member and secretary for the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), the Enterprise Center of Johnson County, founding member and board member of the Women's Capitol Connection, Board of Trustees for Park University, and board member for both OsteoGeneX and OssiFi companies. She also plays an advisory role for numerous foundations and Boards, including the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry, The Center for Executive Women and the Women Business Leaders Foundation.

Kathy was the founder and president of Katy’s Place, a charitable, community-based organization for women, children and families affected with HIV. As a visionary, she led efforts to merge the organization with the Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation in order to best serve patient needs moving forward.

Ms. Dodd has written and lectured on topics that have challenged the home care industry while continuing to focus on leadership, strategy and the development of new business opportunities. Kathy has been providing thought leadership and insight to leaders who have devoted their lives to caring for those in need of home care and hospice services through her personal blog, Care2Lead.com since 2009.
