Richard Castillo


Mr. Castillo has over thirty years of experience in financial and business management across several industries, including Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing, Energy and Airlines.  At these organizations, Mr. Castillo held various leadership positions where he developed or implemented policies and tools, which allowed the companies to improve their productivity and profitability.  During that time, Mr. Castillo has 15 years experience advising emerging and start-up companies; as well as advising executives for over 20 years in Fortune 100 and Fortune 100 Small Cap business organizations.  Mr. Castillo served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of NYFIX Inc., a publicly traded technology firm that was a pioneer in electronic trading platforms.  In addition, Mr. Castillo served as Financial Controller for two airport operations at American Airlines with a combined budget of $500 million.  These included the airline’s primary hubs of Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Chicago O’Hare. Mr. Castillo earned his MBA from the University of Texas and his BBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Mr. Castillo is also licensed as a CPA in the State of Texas (Not Practicing).
