A KU industrial design graduate with human factors engineering expertise, Tom spent a dozen years with Teague, a global design firm in Seattle where he developed innovation programs for clients,  designed dozens of really cool products and user interfaces for Fortune 100 firms, and assisted dozens of startups to develop and launch their technology, medical, aerospace and consumer products.  After earning a Thunderbird MBA, he spent nearly a decade in Asia as VP of Innovation for Singapore Airlines,  Director of Venture Projects at 101Capital, and VP Product Development for an aerospace venture to build private aviation ecosystems in Asia.   Now back in Kansas City,  Tom is an Associate Director of the E-Scholars Program at The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Bloch School of the University of Missouri Kansas City where he he assists over 100 new ventures to launch and scale as part of the E-Scholars Program and teaches  entrepreneurship to undergraduates.
